SoftAdvice Discovery is a short, platform-neutral programme that helps an organisation choose the right document platform: SharePoint with MacroView, M-Files with Microsoft 365, or both side by side. After a digital intake questionnaire, a half-day session (on site or remote, 3 to 4 hours) looks at processes, document flows and how people work. The result is a report on five domains, platform advice per type of document and a plan to start, presented in one hour. The report and the advice stay with the client, also without a follow-up project. The price depends on the sector and is available on request; it is fully offset against a follow-up project confirmed within 90 days.

How do you choose the platform?
We start from your documents: who makes them, who approves them, who needs them and which rules apply. SoftAdvice works with SharePoint, MacroView and M-Files, so the advice follows what fits, not what we sell.
What does Discovery cost?

Is the report ours if we do not continue?

We already know which platform we want. Is Discovery still useful?
Often, yes: Discovery shows which documents and processes to start with and what the structure should look like. If you only want to see the platform, a demo is the faster route.
Is this the same as M-Files Discovery?
No. M-Files Discovery is an M-Files module that classifies documents in other repositories. SoftAdvice Discovery is our advice programme to choose the right platform.
