Questions about records management
Does MacroView replace the records management of Microsoft 365?
No. MacroView brings the records functions of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint to the desktop, so people use them from Outlook.
In which format are e-mails kept?
As .msg files, intact, so they open in Outlook with their attachments.
Can users add a hold themselves?
Users with the right permissions can add or remove holds and declare records from Outlook. Which options people see can be configured.
Do we need M-Files for strict compliance?
Not always. For workflows with approvals, strict audits or documents in several files at once, M-Files often fits better. We work with both and tell you honestly.
