Are Nitro Sign signatures legally valid?
Yes. Nitro Sign offers simple, advanced and qualified electronic signatures under eIDAS. Signing with itsme or the Belgian eID gives a qualified signature (QES), with the same legal value as a handwritten signature in the EU. The level you need depends on the document; we help you choose.
Where are the signed document and the evidence stored?
The signing flow starts and ends in M-Files. The signed version and the audit trail return automatically to the right file in M-Files, with the right metadata.
Can we set the signing order and send reminders?
Yes. Nitro Sign supports sequential and parallel signing. You set the order and reminders per flow and follow the status in M-Files.
Can we send many documents for signature at once?
Yes. You select the documents in M-Files and send them in one batch. Each recipient gets their own document with the right details, in an invitation carrying your branding.
Do we need a Nitro Sign licence?
Yes, signing runs on your Nitro account. Advanced and qualified signatures are part of the Nitro Sign Enterprise plan. We advise on the right setup.
